Noral Parham III President & Editor-In-Chief

As the driving force behind Horsemen Sports Media, Noral Parham III combines a passion for sports journalism with a commitment to community advocacy. With a focus on “Black and Ball,” Noral has established a platform that amplifies marginalized voices in the sports world. His work spans from covering professional franchises like the Indiana Pacers and Fever to highlighting the grassroots efforts of local high school athletes. Under his leadership, HSM has grown into a vital news source for Indianapolis and beyond. Noral is a graduate of Indiana State University, earning a B.S. in Philosophy. Prior to foundingg Horsemen Sports Media, Noral served as the Multi-Media & Senior Sports Reporter for the Indianapolis Recorder, one of the oldest Black publications in the United States.

Clarence Coleman – Senior Sports Reporter


Clarence is a cornerstone of the Horsemen Sports coverage team. Known for his analytical approach to the game, he brings depth and nuance to our professional sports reporting. Whether covering the fast-paced action of the NBA or dissecting post-game press conferences, Clarence focuses on the stories that often go untold, providing readers with a perspective that goes beyond the box score. Clarence studied exercise science and sports marketing at Indiana State University. Prior to joining Horsemen Sports Media, Clarence contributed to the indianapolis Recorder Newspaper during NBA All-Star Weekend, WWE Royal Rumble, Circle City Classic and WNBA All-Star Weekend.

Duane Bean – College Sports Reporter


Duane brings a relentless work ethic and a sharp eye for detail to the Horsemen Sports newsroom. A versatile writer capable of covering everything from NCAA tournaments to community leagues, Duane excels at connecting the dots between sports and culture. His reporting captures the energy of the sideline and the human element behind every athlete. Duane studied business administration during his time at Indiana State University.

Clayton Jones Youth Sports Reporter

Clayton plays a pivotal role in visual and written storytelling within youth sports for HSM. As a member of the 2008 Cardinal Ritter High School football championship team, Clayton understands the importance of digified coverage in high school sports. With a knack for being in the right place at the right time, Clayton ensures that HSM’s coverage is as dynamic as the talents we cover. He is dedicated to the HSM mission of authentic representation, ensuring that players and coaches are covered with dignity and accuracy. Clayton is also a graduate of Purdue University.

Eryn Forrest Lead Graphic Designer

An award-winning visual artist, Eryn Forrest brings a distinct creative edge to the Horsemen Sports brand. A veteran of the Indianapolis media scene, she previously worked alongside Noral Parham at the Indianapolis Recorder, where their collaboration garnered critical acclaim. Eryn was awarded First Place by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) for her standout work “16-Bit Jesus,” a graphic illustration that redefined religious storytelling in the digital age. At HSM, she ensures that the visual identity is as bold and impactful as the headlines.

David Dixon is one of Indianapolis’ premier sports photographers, serving as a lens for the city’s biggest moments over the few decades. From the groundbreaking of the new Indiana Fever facilities to the high-stakes intensity of the NBA Cup and everything in betweene, David captures the history of the game as it happens. His work is defined by impeccable timing and an ability to freeze the raw emotion of competition, providing HSM readers with a front-row seat to the action.

A veteran behind the camera, Walt Thomas provides the visual backbone for Horsemen Sports Media’s professional coverage. Specializing in high-speed action for more than 40 years, Walt is a fixture on the sidelines of Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers games. His portfolio documents the grit and grace of Indiana’s Black and brown athletes, ensuring that every story we tell is accompanied by award-winning, world-class imagery.
